The Shed is a place where people can find friendship, support, and mental health benefits through their shared love of woodworking. Activites include pyrography, woodturning, upcycling and art projects. Originally part of ‘Men In Sheds’, The Morley Shed is now an independent group that welcomes all genders.

Members of The Shed pay a small fee to attend the sessions, which include free refreshments. The members are diverse in age, ability, and background, but they all have a common goal: to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for woodworkers of all levels. The Shed is a place where people can learn, grow, and enjoy their passion. It’s more than a hobby; it’s a therapeutic escape that fosters well-being, creativity, and a sense of achievement.
